Phone call to Adelaide - Gen Skill Indep
Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to phone the DIMA in Adelaide. I rang last night and was put on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes before I hung up.
Thank god I had "Match of the day" to watch last night :-)
With the residency process I have developed great patience, but can anyone recommed a good time to ring Adelaide ?
I rang around 9:15 AM Adelaide time. Anyone have any similar experiences ?
Cheers & good luck everyone.
Paul

Did you dial 0 when hearing the first information message?
In my opinion the best time to call is at the end of their working day. I have talked to much friendlier people at the end of the day then in (their) morning. Last time someone even told me instead of saying 'good bye', 'NO WORRIES'. I just had to smile at that one.
Good luck,
Nina

Hi Nina, David an Terryg,
Thanks for your advise. I tried e-mailing but I got the standard
automated reply (don't know my case officers name yet) and
I used the 0 option. I guess I just picked it at a bad time.
I may try the late in the working day approach.
Thanks again !
