hi
What is the best way to take a large amount of money from the US to
Australia without paying much tax. Any ideas. How much can i take.

Ship it in the matress where you currently keep it.

Best to put it all throught the wash - takes off all the cocaine - K9 Aussie Customs Officers have extra good noses.

There's no tax payable on your capital when transferred to Aus - use a trelegraphic transfer. No limit.

I'm very surprised so many people think there's a tax payable on
international money transfers into Australia/NZ.

Carrying large amoints of cash is asking for trouble - all you need is
to lose your bag or have it stolen.
