Default personal statements do they have to be signed ?

hey guys,do the personal statements for a defacto spouse visa,have to be signed by a witness ie justice of the peace.thanks for your time.....

if you are referring to the statutory declarations, it has to be witnessed by a designated person (solicitor, JP, police officer, etc etc)

hi,I should of been more clear,I mean the statements by myself and my boyfriend,we already have stat dects from my parents and his dad,and they were all signed by a justice of the peace,do our statements have to be aswell.thanks for your help

Stat Decs need signing and certifying but personal statements and UK statements from family and friends don't. My UK ones were done as letters to DIAC and so were signed but we didn't sign the personal ones.
