Default PCC from Pakistan only valid for 6 months .. !! Need advise..!!

Dear All,

Need help regarding PCC. Actually right now I am in Australia as a student but last month I applied for 175 offshore (CSL Applicant). I uploaded the PCC from Australia just after a week of lodging my application online. Today I got the PCC from Pakistan as well in which they have written that it is only valid for 6 months. As I am in Australia right now, if I didn't get CO within 6 months of time do I have to re-apply for PCC from Pakistan or not? As physically I am in Australia now and I have no plans of visiting Pakistan for atleast 1 year.

You may need a new one later since your police clearance is only valid (in DIAC's eyes) for 12 months. So, if your visa application takes more than 12 months to process your police checks will have expired and you could be asked to repeat them.

Your PCC shoudl be valid for 12 months from the date of issue - regardless of when you get a CO.
