passports with visas

passports with visas
When do DIMIA request the applicants to send their passports to them so the Visa can be stamped into it?
I assume they give you the okay and then you send them.
This obviously adds more waiting time, how long till the yellow envelope arrives back with the passports?

You'll get a grant letter, just send off passports to AHC including pre paid special delivery self address envelope and they will be back in a matter of days.

Mine was a sticker, not a stamp...got the passport back in a matter of days.
