Painter qualification for sponsorship

Painter qualification for sponsorship
Hi I'm really interested moving to WA and I was wondering,,, if I aquire a sponsorship for painter and decorator do I need to be qualified in the trade as I only have 3 years experience and no recognised qualifications.
Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi Dorothy, yes it's on the list still, can't remember the number of hand just now, but it is there for sure
I've just searched for the occupation and the ANZSCO code is 332211 on list MLTSSL.

If you have no qualifications then you might be able to substitute work experience. You might want to consult an agent to assess your prospects.

1220.0 - ANZSCO - Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations, First Edition, Revision 1
If you have no qualifications then you might be able to substitute work experience. You might want to consult an agent to assess your prospects.
