I'm trying to submit my application online at:

https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/citz/id...ant_details.do

and the first required piece of infromation is:

Citizenship Test Reference Id

I've checked my Citizenship Test certificate and this information isn't on the certificate. I've tried entering all the reference numbers on the certificate, but continually get the following error message:

The following errors have been encountered:
You are not eligible to use this service as the Department has not been able to verify that you have passed a Citizenship Test.

Any ideas what the immi.gov.au website requires?

Hi mate, I dont believe the reference ID is mandatory, just enter your passport details and visa number and it should take you right into the application.

My reference was on the top right corner of the test result, it started something line 1-993939

Thanks for the reply, I've tried leaving the field blank, but still get the same error even though it states "if known".

Was the ref number not written down on the little card they gave you to take the test?

I have Citizenship Appoinment ID which is in the format 1-111XXXXX

but it still produces the error message
