Medicals were finalised yesterday and visa approved today. Can't wait to hand my notice in now, I've been waiting for 11 months!!

add doc sent on 17/10, still waiting. Called, no allow to speak to CO. just thinking they are kiding!!!

i told you before i think, but i at the same time it doesn't hurt... so...
We applied the 8th of Feb, and since then, we haven't heard from DIAC.
Today i decided to call, to find out.. I wanted some advice, we are eligible for the PR (I think...) but at the same time I am suppose to start my PhD at the end of Jan. I need to take a decision wether i wait or apply for the student visa...
And guess what... when i called this morning, the guy told me we had a CO allocated yesterday !!!!!
We cross the fingers, but this is a very good sign !!! Although nothing has changed yet, when we check our online status...

On a different note, I applied for 175 online app in December 2007 and had frontloaded Medicals on 14/03/2008.
The status on the online application says that Health Requirement Outstanding since then though it says Further medical results received at three places.
What does this mean?? Are the Medicals finalized at a later date??
I know that I have a CO since he requested for additional information on 23rd September, 2008.
