Hi i also have not been on for ages as sick, but have had word from co to get medicals and police checks. finally.. applied early jan.. however now need to find money as very near xmas.. ahhhh..

i told you before i think, but i at the same time it doesn't hurt... so...
We applied the 8th of Feb, and since then, we haven't heard from DIAC.
Today i decided to call, to find out.. I wanted some advice, we are eligible for the PR (I think...) but at the same time I am suppose to start my PhD at the end of Jan. I need to take a decision wether i wait or apply for the student visa...
And guess what... when i called this morning, the guy told me we had a CO allocated yesterday !!!!!
We cross the fingers, but this is a very good sign !!! Although nothing has changed yet, when we check our online status...
