No mate I think you are looking at that slightly back to front! You signed over all communication authority to your agent, so that's not a brush off, that's just standard procedure.

Your agent should be doing all the legwork for you rather than you having to fill in more forms. God I really don't get what these agents are doing all day

Yeah, I know brush off wasn't necessarily what it was, but that's how it feels and we would rather take the control away from the agent as we feel they aren't doing enough for us and always imply you shouldn't rock the boat.
Now with an agent like that who won't fight your corner you have to do something for yourself or we could still be sitting here around Christmas with still no results.
