Great news ATeam!
I'm hi-jacking your thread as a late May applicant!! Frontloaded meds and police checks but not heard a thing yet. Posted verified copies of full birth certs today though as realised I had only sent short copies in with application (doh!)
Good luck everyone. Keep posting!

Hi,
congratulation for the med request! It was pretty fast for you, The average is around 4 - 4+1/2 months now. I hope they speed up processing applications.
As for me it seems my medicals hasn't arrived yet. I asked LCU about it and they answered it hadn't been there yet. It's been 4 weeks since I did it.
In my case the embassy sent them to Canberra where they were supposed to send it to LCU. I hope it arrives eventually.
I fed up waiting and worrying about things.... There is always something!
Anyway, the CO allocation shouldn't be far for me.
Cheers, TB

Just out of interest, when are you all counting from? The time the app is picked up by courier, when it arrives there, when cc is charged, or when ack is received?

Our CO is region 5 though so I think it could be the work load has been spread around to reduce waiting times. Can anyone shed any light on this? What region is usual for UK applicants and what countries are region 5?
Region 1 = Beijing (China & North Asia), Beirut (Middle East except Israel), Brisbane (South Pacific)
Region 2 = New Delhi (Sub continent), Washington (Americas)
Region 3 = London (UK & Ireland), Berlin (Europe), Bangkok (South East Asia except Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia & East Timor)
Region 4 = Pretoria (Africa), Jakarta (Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia & East Timor)
Didn't know they had a region 5?
I am so happy someone had med requests!!! Maybe ours will come soon!!
Please!
