Yeap. Processing times have been published. 175 and 176 - 15 months. So no differentiation between with SMP and simple skilled.

I'm now awaiting IeAust to give me my new letter so I can apply.

Default NEW POLICY RESPONSE

Yesterday i emailed to my CO to ask my case progress after new policy announcement.CO replied;

"Your case is actively processed by Case Officer as your case is already assigned to CO so new policies doesnt apply to your case".

Do you mind sharing what stage are you at ?
My CO has asked for for health checks and PCCs on 07/07/2010. I've done them all and I am waiting for them to arrive to the CO.

Thanks! You're obviously in a more "advanced" state than me.

I Guess I'll have to wait till I am contacted by CO as per:
"Applicants with a nominated occupation of Computing Professional (nec), Hospital Pharmacist and Retail Pharmacist, who have already been allocated a case officer, will be contacted directly by their case officer to advise processing arrangements."

Do you think I can email the CO and ask instead of sitting and waiting ? It's driving me nuts. I thought I am actually close to getting this.

Best of luck with your application.

Here. http://www.immi.gov.au/about/charter.../visas/8.0.htm

It may look the same as yesterday, but then there were more visa options with 15 months. The link has been around for a while, that's why I didn't post it again.

Now what is the fate of Computing Professionals which were on MODL/CSL like Computing Professional (Network Security) before these priorities.

Are we coming under this statement:

"Applicants with a nominated occupation of Computing Professional (nec), Hospital Pharmacist and Retail Pharmacist, who have already been allocated a case officer, will be contacted directly by their case officer to advise processing arrangements."

Please professionals specially agents, guide for the sake of all which are depressed due to new changes.

Umar Farooq.
The best option is contact your case officer.

The best option is to do what it says in the original item - nothing. As it says, if you are affected you will be contacted by your case officer.
