NEW PRIORITY PROCESSING ANNOUNCED ON 19 JULY 2010
Hi,
Latest:
This is the priority processing announced today 19 July 2010:
1) Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
2) Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)
3) Certain General Skilled Migration (GSM) visas. (Listed on SOL)
SMP shall be available in second half of 2010.
Therefore DIAC is in position to process Cat 3, right now. I think it is a good news for lots of applicant already applied and have their occupation on SOL.
Best regards

As there must be very few CSL application and no application in cat 2 hence hence I assume those will be finalized along with Cat 3 during next couple of months or may be weeks.

"Priority processing arrangements apply to current applications, including those in the final stagesof processing. Departmental case officers must follow the Direction made by the Minister aboutpriority processing. Case officers are not able to respond to requests to process individualapplications outside of the order set out in these processing priority arrangements. Refunds ofcosts incurred during processing are not available for delays in processing."

I would be grateful if anyone explain this paragraph :
" Applicants with a nominated occupation of Computing Professional (nec), Hospital Pharmacist and Retail Pharmacist, who have already been allocated a case officer, will be contacted directly by their case officer to advise processing arrangements. "

Is ANZSCO will be treated equal to ASCO. What if an applicant's occupation is on scedule 3 but offcourse schedule 3 has different code ANZSCO and not ASCO. Will the applicant be on Priority group 3?
I am talking about old applicants who had applied on their ASCO codes.

Respected Agents, This is time for you to help the computing Professionals..
Dear All,
As there has been change in priority processing which definitely has thrashed a lot of minds & souls
Now what is the fate of Computing Professionals which were on MODL/CSL like Computing Professional (Network Security) before these priorities.
Are we coming under this statement:
"Applicants with a nominated occupation of Computing Professional (nec), Hospital Pharmacist and Retail Pharmacist, who have already been allocated a case officer, will be contacted directly by their case officer to advise processing arrangements."
Please professionals specially agents, guide for the sake of all which are depressed due to new changes.
Umar Farooq.
