Anyone???We have got our visas,and we rang the Embassy so we can get them stamped.We were hoping to go to London to have this done,and the polite man on the phone said they would rather the passports be sent by post.Can we just turn up?Is this right what he says?I,m sure i,ve read quite a few people on here have gone to London to have this done.Bit confused by this now.Any help on this would be great thanks.

Embassy guy is right indeed!!! Just send the passports thought especial delivery postage system and everything will be sorted out. You don't really have to go in person to get it stamped

Just make sure you send it special delivery with consicential loss insurance. That would thenmake sure if it was lost they would pay ALL cost incured in getting your new passport and visa stamps (photos etc too).

They might prefer you to do it by post, but you CAN go in person if you'd like to.
