POINTS TEST
POINTS TEST
I have been offered a Sponsorship with a company as a Flat glass worker /Glazier my sponsor has not been in contact now for almost 6wks and is not answering my e-mails.The long and short of it is I think the offer is dead in the water.
So my partner and I with 2 kids are thinking of Skilled Migration, from what I can see I score 110pts,this incorperates my nominated ocuppation 60pts,experence 10pts age 20 pts,English (threshold)15pts and 5pts on my partners English totaling 110
Question are there any bonus points awarded for the kids are anything else I am not aware of?
Many Thanks
NEVSY

Re: POINTS TEST
Ok, I'm no expert at this, but as far as I understand you could get extra points by taking the English test (and getting a certain score), and also if you get a state sponsorship. I think quite a few people have done this and I'm sure they can give you more info on this.
All the best!

Re: POINTS TEST
Mods this migh tbe better on the Immigration forum.
To the OP, have a look at www.immi.gov.au for starters. You don't get 5 additional points because your partner can speak English, they also require recognisable skills.

Have you reported by PM as such? They, the mods, usually won't do anything unless you PM them, by using the "REPORT POST" icon, especially on a unemotive subject, as they do not have time to read every single post.

Re: POINTS TEST
I needed five points and did the IELTS (native speaker) - at about £90, able to sit it at the weekend (so no time off work) within three weeks, it seemed the quickest and easiest way to get the extra points. Seemed wuite easy, got 9, 10, 10, 10. Good luck with however you go for them.
