however, the pre-paid Debit cards act similar to Credit Cards. Only difference being that the money is already there. These are widely used by frequent travellers and in place of Travellers' Cheques.

i think, that'd be a good option.

I have a relative in Australia. He dont want to give me his credit card no as for his security. He said that he can make a Master Debit card and keep the application fees in there and will give me the number. Can I use the Master Debit card number for payment of application fees? Please give me your opinion.

So long as there's enough money in the debit card account to cover the visa fees, then yes you can.

Cheers

For the credit card their is a 3 digit security number in back side of card. Last time i used only the credit card number in front side which is of 16 digit. Does my payment failed as i didnt give the security number. If i need to give the 3 digit security number then how should i put it? Please sujjest me on your experience.

Regards,
Rifat.

You may need to phone DIAC and explain the situation. Or, get your own credit card and pay for it with that. Has your friend/family in US bothered to contact his credit card company to find out why it was declined? I would think that would be your first step.

Yes. They contacted with the company and the company say there is no problem for international online payment. I wonder whether the 3 digit security code is also needed to be puted in the card number tab of the online application. Last time i only put the credit card number but not the security code. Is this the reason for failure. Does DIAC also need the security number. Those who submitted online application: Did u entered the credit card security number along with the card number? If yes then how u did it, as there is no separate tab for security number? Won't it be unsecured to give the security number along with the card number? Please comment.

Regards,
Rifat.

Maybe you could ring DIAC and ask. None of us here knows why your credit card didn't go through.

You mean the "CVV" number. As far as I remember, I only submitted the Credit Card number along with the expiry date. The CVV (3 digit Security code) number was never asked.

If they don't ask for it, you don't need to provide it. Don't try putting it into the credit card number field or the transaction will fail.

Cheers
