Default Nearly ready to submit offshore partner visa (309)

We’re nearly ready to submit the application for my partner visa but would be grateful for answers to the following questions:

1. Does it prompt you to attach documents after you’ve clicked on the submit button?

2. How long do you have to attach documents before it’s too late?

3. Is it best to gather and organise all our uploads before submitting or is it best to just get on an submit the application and gather evidence after?

4. How do we go about filing in the sponsor application form (40sp) - do we get a prompt to do that after I’ve lodged my 47sp form?

5. What about the statutory declaration forms (888) too - do we print them out to be filled in and then scan them to upload? Also, is it an 888 form regardless of whether the person is an Australian citizen or U.K. citizen? (We’ll be having both)

6. Is it best to get my health and police checks done soon after submitting my visa application?

Sorry for all the questions but I’m stressing a little, and as we’re not using an agent (should be a straightforward case - married 11 years and 3 Aussie kids) I want to make sure we do it all correctly.

Thanks!
