Default Nearly finised new RPL. Systems Designer (hopefully)

Hi There,

just after some simple clarification. I'm about to send my ACS RPL assessment and I've gone for Computer Professional Systems Designer. I know this isn't on CSL or MODL (irrelevant really as they have been revoked). If I get +ve assessment I intend to apply for 176 as my wife's sister lives in Sydney.

Any ideas roughly the kind of timescale I'm looking at. I'm guessing not to have visa before 2012. Is it worth me going for State sponsorship Sydney or Melbourne. Do I need plenty of money for this option?

Many Thanks guys.

Hi

Timeline for you will be like me, waiting time 3 year from date of apply, as per

As far as I know the CSL has not yet been revoked, and the MODL still applies for IT applicants, can't you go for something other than Systems Designer?

I'm not a traditional programmer ie c#, c++, Java, etc. but I do have experience of .Net although I wouldn't consider myself and expert.

Whoa! Lets back the truck up a second. MODL points still count for IT? If they have been abolished, surely they dont and none would be received in the first place.

Kind Regards,
P.
