Hi there

Just wondered if anyone knows if the Down Under Live event is supposed to be any good? We already have our visas, and have booked flights but have heard that they have employers there. Anybody been or planning to go?

Yes, I was thinking of going to that. Not sure what to expect to be honest, I guess I am just going to talk to people and find out whats what.

Last one I heard there where very few employers there (except healthcare) and huge queues everywhere we where going to go but since we had our visa by then we decided not to.

I went to a similar thing last year, the only recruiters were looking for medical staff. I think everyone that goes says much the same thing. I'd save your bus fare if you are not a medic.
