Medicals and MS
Hi everyone, a friend of my is thinking of moving to Perth however suffers from Benigne MS, so not the progressive one and depression!!! not much fun for her, however, would this then be a no when it came to the medical stage??? thanks again Dawn

The problem with benign MS is it is not the most common form of MS and there is no guarantee it will not develop into the more progressive type - and thus cost a lot of money. If you do a search on the MRT site you will find a number of cases refused for MS but the occasional one that is allowed.
If your friend were to proceed, it would be a long and difficult road with no guarantee of success. MS is also a condition that does not improve with sunshine - a hotter climate can bring on an attack.
It may be a situation where your friend needs a support network around them and migration not the best option. Stress is also not good for the condition and this process is not without a lot of that!
