Hi everyone,

I am a three years Diploma holder in Electronics Engineering and have 7 years work experience. But, my whole of the work experience is in Electrical field and in no way related to my Electronics field for which I have studied.

I know I have to apply through TRA, but I am confused as how should I proceed further and what type of occupation should I nominate.

Any help will be appreciated!

Hi there,
I cant be certain and there are many others on here who know lots more than me but...

I would go with what you have the work experience in and nominate that trade. My husband got his TRA based on 7+ years of being in the trade, he had no qualification.

I think you lose points if you havent got recent work experience in the trade you are nominating, so unless you have points to spare this may the best option rather than opting for the trade you DO have a qualification in but NO experience!!
