Default medicals

Does anyone know if a family can get medicals done separately? Daughter is studying abroad and would not want to come home just to do medicals. Can she do it there and then submit it to diac? please help.

As far as I am aware as long as they visit any PANEL doctor then their medicals will be accepted. For my visa I just rang a panel doctor and set an appointment.

Once u apply u will be given a TRN which all applicants must attach to their paperwork in any case. This number links the paperwork to the file and all get sent to the same place (depending on which visa u appply for) by the doctor.

While I don't know for definite I assume this to be the case. U could always call ur local embassy or DIAC themselves. Theyre generally very helpful.

prissy ask your agent if you have one, failing that i would say yes your daughter could do it abroad as ive just had mine its only a basic medical eye test, ear test, blood test and chest x-ray and a reflex test all of which a doctor abroad would do im sure of! the doctor i went to wasnt my GP id never seen him in my life, anyway good luck !

yes you can do it like that as long as it is done by a DIAC panel doctor; all the medicals are linked to the same TRN nr so it should not be a problem.
