if u send an email direct to CO it takes a max of two days. If u lodge a PLE via website, it can even take 17 days.

I send emails directly to team address. And they usually respond in a day or two.

y there is too much delay when we send PLE to CO?
Secondly is CO reply himself reply to the PLE or there is an auto generated reply from the system.

Send your CO an email...If your query is straight forward and abstract,he will surely give precise information concerning ur case very soon.

I dont agree on this because i sent a PLE and even got reply from CO in 2 days

It depends how much busy they are, it was true in some cases and they have taken more then 2 weeks to reply.

My friend got verified today, CO asked some job duties, no of employees in company, Name of Employees and current salary.
Co asked some technical questions like, what is the difference between Vb6 and .net
He also talked to his manager.

He applied in Feb09, his all docs are showing "received".

Here are some suggestions. Try to limit your emails to one or two lines, and avoid asking too many questions in one email. Be very specific and concise on your queries.

COs perhaps have subordinates working under them who reply on their behalf.

that would not be the CO who was doing the verification, it must be someone else either from AHC or from an agency working on behalf of AHC
