Hello everyone, we are new here
We got our co Sept 27th...meds were sent Aug 28th, Police checks 10th Sept...Still waiting to hear something....anything...

Hoping to go to Perth, just outside Fremantle. We were hoping to get out for start of new school year but highly unlikely. Everyday excited to check emails just in case of some news from our agent, but every morning nothing..AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
WE JUST WANT A YES OR A NO SO WE CAN GET ON WITH OUR LIVES!!!!!!!!

Hi Claire,
No good news on Visa front yet, but I did get some part time work until it does bloody come! so not a bad day yesterday!
Do you feel numb now, after waiting for so long and wanting it to be, so badly? We do!
It's all too much, so we've had to open the wine and enjoy a glass or two before dinner - we know how to live!
We're holding our glasses up to cheer in the new week next week, with more news of more of us getting our visas!!!

Good news on the work,something to keep your mind off the visa for a short while.
I know what you mean numb sums it up,
Wine sounds good may have to join in especially after Christmas shopping.

I hope you are right!! It was just that when we lived in Adelaide all of Adl. kinda shut down for mid Dec. to end of Jan, bit like UK over that 2 week xmas period. Remember its the height of their summer and kids big hols so every one goes away but if you've heard diff. i'll go with what you've heard.Fingers crossed.

Ok Peeps...can anyone answer me this. We have been passed by TRA we have a CO but could they still say NO to a VISA 
Does anyone no of anybody getting this far a being refused...we do have an agent.

If you've submitted sufficient documentation to show that you satisfy the legislative criteria then the chances of being refused are low. Your agent should have been confident that they were lodging the strongest possible application on your behalf but the case officer should request any additional documentation they feel is necessary anyway so you'll get the chance to provide more if it's needed.
It's pretty much just a case of waiting for the case officer to get around to looking at your application now.

Our Co has already asked for extra bits so I guess if they were going to say no they wouldn't have wanted more docs...heres hoping anyway...our life is in limbo until we know, hard to concentrate on anything else.
