28 days but they said you can extend after providing proof of delay like receipts of submission.
I guess I will finish all docs before 28 days.

Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants
I have applied for only Indian PCC.. In my passport, my permanent address is that of my native and i am residing in another palce for the past one year. So when applying for PCC, u have to apply from the place where u r residing in currently. And so in my case, police verification will go to 2 places.. So will have to wait for that ...

I am Forigener(Indian) working in Malaysia. I know, I need to get 2 PCC, one from Indian High Commission in KL, which I know the process and another one from Malaysian Police, I am not sure about the process. I am planning to find out once I get PCC request from DIAC.
How about you? Are you also a forigener working in Malaysia?

You can apply for the Good Conduct Certificate at the nearest Malaysian Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate General
Application for Good Conduct Certificate
Application for Good Conduct Certificate
The processing period is within 1 to 2 months from the date of submission. I will submit it next week, so, I don't need to wait up to 60 days when CO requests for it.

Thank you for your advice. Is this Good Conduct Certificate officially equivalent to requested PCC by DIAC? Is it officially accepatable by DIAC in place of PCC?
When I apply for it, do I need to apply only for myself or for mywife(Also Indian, fulltime housewife in Malaysia) also?
Thank you,
Srikanth
