Information regarding ACS Papers for Spouse if applying for Skilled Immigration

Information regarding ACS Papers for Spouse if applying for Skilled Immigration
Hello All,
This is my first post here. I am applying from Pakistan to Australia for Skilled Immigration Visa Process (Subclass 189). I am a software Engineer and since this is the matter of Points. My wife is also a Skilled Engineer.
I can't find anything on the website that either i have to pay for my Wife's ACS separately?
How do we get Spouse Points?
I hope my question is clear. Please do let me know about this.

You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they:
•were under 50 years of age
•had at least competent English
•had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation
•had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation

Thanks a million for detailed response. I want to ask one more thing. For getting those 5 points of Spouse ofcourse i would also have to send her complete documents for Assessment to ACS. Do i also have to pay separately for her? Or it would be

Yes she has to pay for it. Separate assessment means separate payment
