Immigration help urgently needed please
Hi there, would be really grateful if someone could help us. My husband is a City + Guilds qualified Mechanical Design Engineer of many years experience and I am a qualified Teaching Assistant working at level 3. We would dearly love to emigrate to Australia together with our 3 children, aged 23, 21 and 11 years. The problem is, my husband is 51 and I am 47 years old. Is there anyone out there who could help us ? I should also add that our older children have no professional qualifications, but have always been employed in full time work and are willing to enter any training programme. We have already contacted an emigration agent who has said we are unlikely to be successfull due to our ages. He did suggest that maybe a firm interested in employing my husband might sponsor him and we may have success this way. If there is any engineering firm interested in helping us or if anyone can give us any more tips to help us come and live in your super country, please reply to this post.

Thanks for replying Stumpysean. As you rightly said a study option is very expensive, too expensive, in fact, given that hubby could then only work 20 hours a week. As for our older children, then I will tell them to look into arranging their own visas. Would still love to join you lovely lot out there. If anyone else could help us please don't hesitate to reply.
Thanks.
Thanks.

the business visa we are looking at can be applied up to 55yrs. As far as I know there are some exceptions i.e an 'exceptional Talent' visa. But unfortunately i don't think you qualify for that.
