IELTS test required?

Dear all, I studied one year in Australia and completed my bachelor of multimedia
degree there. As a prerequisite for my uni application I need to pass the TOEFL test.
Does anyone know, whether my studies in Australia in combination with the TOEFL test,
will satisfy the department of immigration if I should apply for permanent residency,
or whether the IELTS test is still required?
