I have a UK degree and have spoken english since birth !!!!
Just done the exam last week. My advice is that you MUST practice, if you require band 7. The test does not, test every day spoken english, but is at a much higher level (especially reading section).

Not sur if this one is quiet legal
Google "artefact ielts" - turn off popup blocker before you try to download.
