How long for PCC's??
#1
Hi everyone!
I sent off my request for the PCC a couple of days ago, and wondered how long it usually takes our police people to sort it out and send the results back??
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Grant
I requested mine from Kent police, I think they took 3-4 weeks so not too long.
Are you back from Oz? If so was it a good trip?

Really enjoyed my trip, which is why I'm so excited that I'm moving there for good!!!!
....getting in a pretty panic about organising it all now though with such a short time scale!! I'm worried everything is going to take too long!! I've applied for the PCC's, which you say will take 3-4 weeks, and I've booked a medical for 20th June, which was the earliest appointment they had!! ....I'm worried!! ...they want me to start work 1st August, so I'll need the visa in my passport by 22nd July at the latest!!!Do you have any idea how long it takes to get the stamp put in your visa when you send it to Australia House???

Hi Grant, I think it's pretty quick to get the stamp, couple of weeks tops.
Glad it all went well for you

According the AHC website:
=========
How long will it take?
We aim to evidence your visa(s) within 5 working
days of receipt of your passport(s). Do NOT send
us your passport if you require it in the meantime.
Due to the short turnaround time we will NOT
provide progress reports. You can confirm
delivery of your passport(s) by checking the Royal
Mail website and entering your unique Special
Delivery serial number.

Has anyone done the visa evidencing at the AHC in London recently?
If so, is 5 days the current and realistic processing times?
Thanks,

We sent ours off a couple of weeks ago. Sent to AHC on the Monday and we got them back on the Friday (5 working days).
