First entry Dilemma
I am close to get the PR visa anytime this month. The date of first entry given to me is before 01-Oct-2005.
My company is getting me business visa for australia for some business trips next month.
My dilemma is when i travel to australia if i have 2 valid visa one PR and second business visa; which visa should i use to get entry in australia. Can i choose at immigration desk to stamp my PR visa even if my purpose of entry is business work for my company?

hi sandy, how r u doing. glad to see u again. i think that once you have PR visa stamped on your passsport, you dont need business visa anymore. you can perform any business (within legal parameters) activity in australia.
Experts please comment.

If you get granted your 136, and the business visa is granted later on (unless it's an ETA) it will *cancel* your PR visa.
Why not tell your company not to bother with the business visa - it's the only safe way for now. Wait for your PR visa to be granted.
