Default How long after a case officer is asigned to your file

Hi

Everyone, we have been waiting for the DIAC to confirm they have recieved out Visa application, we got a email saying it was lodged on the 31st March and they are currently dealing with applicants dated the 19th Sept :-(, When our time finally arrives how long on average do the Case officers have the file before they give the go ahead for the Visa, providing they have our medical and police clearences????,

Thanks guys

All depends on how complicated the case is, if they need any additional information etc. Its a how long is a piece of string question I'm afraid, it could be a few days, it could be a few months (in some cases it has been anyway)
