Applied on 19.09.2007 and sent email last week querying progress as we'd heard nothing since the confirmation email of 19.09.2007. Received an email today saying our "allocated case officer" requested additional information on 8 November 2007 and they're waiting to hear from us!

We haven't heard from anyone, let alone been allocated a case officer, and our Online Status Inquiry page shows the last action done on our application was on 22 November when our FL meds arrived. All our forms are noted as "required" despite our uploading them on 18.09.2007 and nothing has changed from that date!

Anyone else had a similar experience? Do we have a CO or not! Ahahahahaaaaaaahhhh!!!

Just a thought but have you checked the junk mail folder for emails from your CO?

If you have been advised by email that your allocated case officer has requested something then you can be fairly sure you have been allocated one. They don't send you an email to say "Hi I'm your case officer" they will only contact you if they need something.
By the sound of it your case officer sent you something in November requesting info and for whatever reason you never received it.
Reply to the email you received, telling them what you have put here, that you uploaded medicals and have heard nothing since. Then they will come back to you and tell you what they were chasing.
Doesn't matter whether or not you have a CO, what matters is that someone tried to contact you and failed for some reason. I suggest you follow that up asap.


As a ps - I don't really understand the title though, where does the "honesty" bit come into it?

Thanks Pollyana - we've done that but I would've expected something on our Status Inquiry page but there's nothing beyond the original acknowledgement in Sept.

We've had a similar experience, we applied on the 27/08/07, we didnt hear anything up until november, we didn't even get a receipt to say they received out application, we were worried that it didnt arrive before the points change on the 01/09/07, so we applied again (online this time). In january we received an email saying that both applications have been received, so we asked for the online one to be terminated. Since then we've nothing. We dont know if we've got a case officer or anything. Hope we hear something soon though, because we're desperate to get moving!!!
