Have you received your TRN number yet from your sponser? We received ours on xmas eve, which was nice. I completed the application between xmas and new year, we were late doing our meds because we were not sure about what we needed to do, but had them in late feb, they were recived by the Sydney imi office last tuesday, finalised wednesday and visa granted last thursday. So process took about three months.
I would advice that as soon you submitt the online application to book your meds, as it took a couple of weeks between having them and the Sydney office receiving them.
It does though seem to vary between offices as to which is quicker - Sydney is one of the fastest. Where are you off too?

Congrats on you granted visa, We applied for a 175 visa last august. I thought we have to wait to be allocated a case officer, is that not the case. To this day we have still not been allocated a CO, would you to send the meds, police checks etc anyway?

Cheers

You can send the meds & pcc's without a CO. They are only valid for 12 months tho so just make sure if you get them now that you will be able to validate in 12 months time.
You only know you have a CO if there is any outstanding documents they need. Otherwise it just goes straight to grant!

Do you think it would be worth dropping the aussie immi an email just to see whether we got a CO or not???

If you haven't submitted your medicals then you will find out when you get a case officer, as they will request the meds and pccs.

That's my understanding of it all anyway.
