Look on the immigration site. Best place to start and see if you can actually come to Aussie...

Everybody's different in where they start, but I think these forums are a really good place to start! We also bought the magazine Australia and New Zealand and one which now seems to have disappeared called Emigrate.
Things also will depend on what sort of visa you intend getting, do have a close family member already there - that's one type of visa, if you're under 30 you can look at a working holiday visa, if you're over 30 but under 45 you can possibly look at skilled migration, there are also student visa and others depending on your circumstances.
I take it you have already been out to Australia? I personally think this is a really important part of the process, I know people do decide and go and live in Australia without visiting, but I personally can't see how you can know it's right for you unless you've been. Ideally I would say go on a proper fact finding trip, and look at the places you visit with an eye to living and working there not just as a holiday, so staying in a rented house, doing the weekly shopping, commuting to the city - if your work is likely to be city based and so on. Take a look at the costs of renting and buying property there are a couple of sites around www.Realestate.com.au and www.domain.com.au. Look at jobs www.seek.com.au is a good one.
Getting a visa to go can be an arduous task so I personally would say talk to an expert - a migration agent, the one we are using is brilliant. www.sortoutmyvisa.com (mention us if you speak to them).
Finally go to some of the migration shows look at www.downunderlive.co.uk
I'm no expert these are just the things that we have done. Hope that helps.

You are in the right place Stacey but please turn your caps lock off. It is considered extremely rude in cyber world.

Hi Stacey. I'd check the wizzard on the immigration forum to see if you are eligible first and then take it from there. Good luck.
