Default ENS 121 (Secondary Applicant Language)

All,

We have already lodged our ENS 121 a week ago. I was however just going through other threads on EP (as you do) and have the following question:

I am British from birth.
I (primary applicant) had to sit IELTS (academic), and luckily passed at 8.5 overall - actually required for Skills Assessment/Registration parts.

For my spouse (who is also British from Birth) has not sat IELTS as the ENS 121 did not seem to indicate was needed. We just ticked Vocational English and included certified copy of passport page in ENS documents.

Should we have (in hindsight) had my spouse sit IELTS (general)?
or should we just relax with the fact that spouse is English born/bred.

Thanks

IELTS should not be needed, normally.
