Question Help appreciated.......especially from agents!

Ok, we've got Uk based friends who would like to emigrate, the primary applicant would be 37 years old with 15 years xp in the fencing trade.
Now..the problem......his occupation appears neither on the MODL or SOL lists, is he shafted? or can anyone recommend a route for him to go down to secure a visa??

Would really apppreciate some help on this one guys!!

If his training and work experience doesn't fit into a SOL occupation, then general skilled migration is not going to be an option at this stage, sorry.

Employer nomination can work in a few instances where general skilled doesn't, but opportunities are limited the lower down the skill level you go.

Retraining or upgrading skills might open doors, but nothing is guaranteed as rules are always changing.

There are a few non-skill based visas like remaining relative or contributory parent that some people go for, but they have strict rules of their own.
