Smile HELP FOR VISA 457?

HI GUYS,
I WENT THROUGH THIS LINK
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skill...-eng-req.htm#b
AND FOUND FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
If you are seeking an exemption from the English language proficiency requirement on the basis of completion of five continuous years of study at a secondary and/or higher institution where the instruction was in English, you should also provide the following information with your application:

•name and location of the institution
•level of qualification
•official transcript from the secondary and/or tertiary institution
•number of contact hours of instruction per week delivered in English
•number of years of continuous study.
SO AS I STUDIED ALL MY 18 YEARS IN ENGLISH MEDIUM,CAN I OMIT IELTS?
I ALSO HAVE MY TRANSCRIPTS AND MARKSHEETS SHOWING REQUIRED STUDY HOURS AND MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION.
GUIDE ME.........

Hi Syeda

Different professions have different requirements for ILETS
You are an overseas trained doctor I believe.
Normally you require ILETS of 7 academic overall.
What are your scores?

I would suggest you contact AMC directly to clarify each module requirements
I've just looked on their website and it's not clear to me.

Hi Syeda

Please note on same web page•the applicant’s nominated occupation does not require a level of English language proficiency for grant of registration, licence or membership, and they have completed at least five years of continuous full time study in a secondary and/or higher education institution where instruction was conducted in English.

You will need to discuss/email AMC about this if you wish to be an OTD in Australia.
The DIAC website explains things in very generic terms
It will save you a lot of time mate

Default it says IELTS 5 is suffice!

that link above in Syeda's post says so for "employer sponsored applicant" 457, so Syeda u ans ur own qus, u need 5 on each if you are NOT exempt, do NOT procrastinate on writing the exam, i did and am paying heavily for it in terms of time lost seeking a waiver
IELTS testing is pretty straighforward and administered by either the British Council or IDP Australia

Administrators can help u attain preparation material and speaking evaluators do try and help candidates- remain friendly and calm during the interview- these peopel are the best english educators in the www (whole wide world!) and even a 7 is possible if u've had the 18 yrs of edu in an English medium and prepare for about 8 weeks regarding exam specifics

but 5 is minimum eligibility for a class 457 methinks

the only persons exempt are-and i quote from the link you provided,
"exempted persons:

the applicant is a passport holder from Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America "

and then the rest of the 18 yr educn quals.....good luc with the exam

Are you actually reading the guidance from the posters here that you are getting?

If it is not comprehensible to you then maybve your IELTS score will not be as high as you would like!!

You want everything given to you yet still ask the same repetitive questions, I for one have my concerns if you practise in my locality!

Have you gone through the links provided?
Have you emailed the AMC regarding their requirements?
If not you have misunderstood this forum.
In all likelihood the members will have some personal experience in migration some may have parallels to your own situation.
I doubt anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer.Maybe one of the agents could prove me wrong
Hence I have suggested contacted the organisation that will be of paramount important if you wish to practise as a doctor in Australia and particularly if you wish to progress to applying for PR
