Nothing. There is nothing I can do. I wrote to them, they had a fake address. I emailed them, and calle dthem - all that bounced. I didn't do enough of research, and I paid the price.

It's always the official advice of DIMIA and the advice of the regulars here to check and verify an agent's registration details with MARA.
Ignore this advice at one's own peril, although those who are conned have my sympathies as well.
The fact remains that the onus today is with the applicant to ensure that some basic homework has been done to check the authenticity of the agent's credentials.
