Advice needed
Hi,
I received a positive assessment for my ACS application. I was classified as a minor. The only problem is with the work experience dates mentioned. My actual experience stated in the application was from jul 97 to may 01 and from jan 02 to jul 02. In the letter issued to me the experience from jul 97 to may 2001 has been wrongly mentioned as from feb 97 to may 01. In other words, I've been given more experience than I actually stated.
I intend to file my migration application in Jan.
What am I supposed to do. Write to ACS and wait for their reply or should I go ahead with my migration explaning what happened ?

Re: Advice needed
Hi Tony,
In theory, ACS should correct their mistake and issue a certificate with the
correct dates, but that will only delay your application. You will also
find that to correct the error ACS will insist that you return the original
assessment. But as long as there is no deeming date, you will have no
problem with lodging.
In this case I would recommend that you lodge your application with a
certified copy of the original assessment and at the same time return the
original to ACS to have the error corrected. In your covering letter you
explain the situation to DIMIA and undertake to forward the amended
assessment when it is received.
Best regards

Thank you for the advice George, I shall write to the ACS and ask them to rectify the situation and hope that it is done as soon as possible
