Got subclass 189 visa - Does stamp is required?
Good Day,
I finally got Subclass 189 Permanent Residency Visa
Do I need to get my passport stamped or not?
What all documents may be required at Indian airport and Australia airport for Immigration check?
Thanks in advance,
Tinku

No, a visa stamp is not required. You may choose to have one, but they'll charge you AUD $70 for the privilege. Having a physical stamp isn't necessary anymore, as the visa records are online.

In my opinion well worth getting the visa label, even at $70. All kinds of people ask to see it, medicare offices, employers maybe and I have not once but twice had trouble when flying and have been very glad to have the label!

Paying $70 should be ok. Could you please advise if this visa stamping on Passport is done from Australia or I can get it done in India?
Thanks in advance,
