Can you take all your docs in to Australia House in person?

I believe you can but you need to be there by 8.30am as they only let you in for a couple of hours. We rang and were told not to go in person but to send them registered post with a registered post self addressed envelope for returning them. They were back within a couple of days.

Good luck
