Oh, also I was asking around for current processing times for those onshore (under BSPC) - I got the email by registering again , so posting it here -

ALLOCATION INFORMATION

VB 885 (Occupations on the Critical Skills List Only)

Applications received up to 19 October 2008.

Applications for VB885 visas that do not have an occupation on the Critical
Skills List are not being allocated at present.

VB886 (State and Territory Nominated Only)

Applications received up to 15 September 2008.

Applications for VB886 visas that are not sponsored by a State or Territory
government are not being allocated at present.

VB 887

Applications received up to 1 November 2008

VC 485

Applications received up to 2 April 2008

VC 487

Applications received up to 22 January 2009

hey thanx....mine is 3rd feb 2008....CSL- electrical engineering.....so i hope things might be moving anytime for me too.......fingers crossed!

yes. once the sponsoring state sends the nomination to DIAC, a case officer will be assigned to the case within 10 days.

I'm a 175 Jan 2008 CSL paper based applicant (IT Prof) but not got a CO yet. Are there any Jan 2008 applicants waiting for a CO yet?

Once C.O allocated, how much time C.O will take to grant VISA these days(after changed circumstances), It may depend upon applicant's situation, but on normal scenario how many Days it will take after C.O allocation till Visa Grant...

HI ABBI, I am also vd u on jan 2008 boat. i am 175 CSL / MODL paper based Jan 2008 applicant , so far no nes from diac. Don't know wat the methodolgoy these peoples are using few of feb 2008 175 CSL / MODL cases assigned to CO but Only GOD knows when will we got CO and Visa....
