Here goes questions from form 80 firstly details of passports ever issued we had the one year passports about 20 years ago we no longer have them where do i get that info from do we have to send police checks off with this form or do we wait till we are asked for them

We didn't know about our old passports either, so we just left that section blank. Apparently some people contact the passport office to get old passport numbers but DIAC didn't ask for ours.

If you already have PCC's you may as well send them in with your visa application/Form 80's.

Just remember you will only get 12 months (or 6 months) to validate your visa from the earliest PCC or medical. So if that isn't long enough, get new PCCs done and send them in a few months time.

If there is no notation of the details in the subsequent passport to the 12 month one, just state you had another passport and do not know the details.

Do not get police clearance yet - either wait for a formal request or pre-empt the request by 2 or 3 months.

I had a 1 yr passport when i was 15 but didnt say as actually forgot until i read this and was never asked... even though i'm sure i said i went to spain when i was 15..

Wouldn't worry about old passports, lost my previous one, and just said unknown on our form.

....Got the visa now and they never mentioned it

We didn't have by OH's first passport number so contacted the passport office who put us in touch with the right department. We had to send a letter with his personal details, a copy of the bio page out of his current passport and a cheque for £10. We received the info we needed in approx 30 days.
