Family Tree - what goes in here ?
One of the requirements of a sponsored GSM is a family tree showing relationship to the sponsor. In my case my brother is sponsoring me.
What information is required in the family tree document ? What level of detail is needed ? Do I show the family tree showing just our parents and us, or is it supposed to have some more detail (ours spouses, children, parents' brothers & sisters etc.) ? Please advise
Regards
Manumani

Also, to prove you are his brother, both your birth certificates having the same parents name might be enough.

Thanks. That's helpful.
Birth certificates are a bit dicey. I have a birth certificate in English. He has a birth certificate in a regional language. He has an affidavit in English, but that mentions only father's name. Will that be a problem ? Would he (and I) be better off if he applies for a fresh birth certificate in English ?
