Default For everyone who has to get x rays done (onshore)...heres some info for you...

....nothing too exciting but I just did the x rays (Melbourne) and here is what happens:

The address is

Health Services Australia
Level 4 / 501 Swanston Street
Melbourne VIC 3000

03 9224 8381

You have to call them and make an appointment.

What you will need is:

* Your passport
* Form 160 => http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/160.pdf

Fill out Part A of the Form and Part B during your exam

* 85 dollars

Go to the reception, they check your passport and take a photo of you. You pay the 85 dollar fee, get a receipt and then you go to the X Ray Section which is the opposite room.

The actual x ray takes 2 minutes and thats it.

You might provide your agent / lawyer / CO with the receipt as they can access the results without having to look at the actual x rays (which will be sent to you within 5 working days)

Thats all, fairly quick and harmless process....

$85 the UK is definately ripping us off...but I am not complaining...I (well not really me) will pay...
