Do origianl scanned copies need to be certified

If I am uploading the original scanned copies of the documents to the visa application, do they need to be certified as well?

If they are colour-scanned originals they do not need to be certified.
I use a free app on my iPhone called Genius Scan to get color pdf "scans" done and converted into pdf files.

Color scanned docs do not need to be certified. Beside you can't certify ur original docs anyway, bcause they're originals.
