Hi ... Can anyone explain main difference in 189 and 190 ?

Is it mandatory to live in particular state for 2 years in-case of 190 ?

What is good option ... to select both 189 and 190 in EOI stage or only one i.e. 189 ?

The main difference is that a 190 requires state sponsorship. So, you would need to find a state sponsoring your occupation and be able to meet any special requirements. Each state imposes its own. For example, most occupations for WA state sponsorship require a job offer.
Then, there is no guarantee the state will give sponsorship. They can refuse for many reasons. Then, some states often make refusals but offer sponsorship for a 489 instead.
There is currently no legal obligation to stay in the sponsoring state on a 190. However this could change in the future
There is nothing stopping you doing two eoi's and letting them run side by side.

thnx for response stormy ... one thing which is not getting clear to me that i can apply one eoi for 189 and one totally new separate eoi for 190 ? or u mean that i can tick both options in one single eoi ?

You can lodge two separate eoi's.
Personally though I don't see a lot of point. But there is nothing detrimental for doing.
