Default DIAC Service Standards and Processing Times

This is quite interesting, it shows the performance of DIAC against its own service standards. For low risk countries the 175/6 offshore applications appear to have a 12 month standard but the small print shows that their target os 75% finalised in 12 months and their current achieval rate is 78% for General Skilled visas and only aroung 60% overall

Perhaps somebody should suggest to them that processing Visas on a first come first server basis will increase the number meeting their targets

The full report can be found here:
http://www.immi.gov.au/about/reports...t-a-glance.htm

Below are a couple of tables from the report.
