Hi all, Great new to share, I got my assessment letter with following lines:

Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 2231-79 (.NET Technologies Specialist) of the ASCO Code, being the skilled occupation indicated that you intend to nominate in a General Skilled Migration application.

Based on the provided certified documentation it is the opinion of the ACS that the applicant has 12 months experience in .NET Technologies.

You just need to cross the border, get the stamp for entry in your passport and you can literally take the next flight out again.

Sylvia

Hi All,
Just searching the reasons for delay in ACS assessment result and found this useful forum.

Well, guys i have a strange issue in my assessment result. I have log my application via consultant on august 2009 with out passport as my consultant said there is no need of passport at this stage as we can apply on birth certificate also. Let me tell you that one of my friend and i we both applied at the same time but he recieve his result with positive remarks and i am still waiting. The ACS once asked me for the user name and password for my MCSE transcript and i replied on the same day but still there is a silence from there side. Its been 7 months now and i am still waiting for my ACS result. The ACS still dont give me the user name and password to check my status online. Kindly tell me that what will be the reason and how to over come this issue.

If they have contacted you that means they are working on your case. decision time varies case to case, hopefully you would get ur result in this month

Thanks Shafaqat for reply but dont you think its too late now almost 7 months. Once i submitted a status query for my case and i got a reply via E-mail that my case is with accessor and it will take 1 month to finalize but 4 months have gone after that E-mail but still no reply.

1 more think is it necessary that i should first pass the IELTS then move to next step or i can move to next step and submit my IELTS result later?
I can see your location. Can you please tell me that from where you prepared the IELTS exam or you have done it by your own?

You can call up ACS or mail them to chase up regarding your assesment. Your letter might be lost some where in post who knows..

You need to ahve IELTS before lodging your application with DIAC thats mandatory , otherwise your application will be rejected.

My letter isnt lost because they still didnt send me the letter yet. I am in touch with them via my consultant and near about 1 month ago the accessor asked me for transcript of MCSE and i have replied them with required information. I dont know that why they are taking so much time to finalize my case as normally they are finalizing the case with in 12-16 weeks.
